The independent typical stone villa with private pool and a stunning view on the Chianti landscape ist situated only 200 m from the ancient village of Montegonzi. The Farmhouse is located in peaceful area surrounded by a shaded garden, olive trees, vineyard, ancient oaks trees, dominating the Arno valley. The villa is part of a larger estate and has, as its landmark a riding club, a restaurant and a tennis court. The property is to be reached by a short private road which is not paved but very easily to pass.

The villa has a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests; a 230 sqm two floors indipendent house cosy and rustic furnishings.

The house has large outdoor spaces, a BBQ, great terraces and a equipped pergola. The rustic and cosy furnishing is in the typical Tuscan style.

The private pool of the house (14 x 5 meters) is immersed in the great garden with a sun terrace from where you can enjoy the view over the valley.

From here a beautiful road leads into Chianti area:
Badia Coltibuono, Gaiole, Radda, Castellina, Greve and Siena.

Not to be missed is the Thursday morning market at Montevarchi, 12km/8 miles. Florence and Arezzo, a beautiful city with a famous antiques market, are both reached in 45 minutes.

The history of Montevarchi dates back to circa 986, when pilgrims and travelers stopped here on their way to and from Rome.

Montevarchi: for centuries the “market town” for Valdarno, Chianti and Pratomagno – and one of the most important in Tuscany.

A meeting place for traders, townsfolk, the local livestock and grain “dealers” and above all for farmers and small local producers who, until the 1960s used all means possible to get to the town squares of Montevarchi, to make deals and sell their goods: free range chickens, vegetables, rabbits, artichokes, olive oils and chestnuts.

Today the area is famous for its contribution to the international fashion industry and boasts the location of prestigious fashion outlets like Prada and "The Mall".

The area has excellent restaurants, a farmer’s market and regular train service to Florence, Arezzo, Rome
(with connections to every major Italian city)
